ASHVILLE-Rolande G. Levesque Vaillancourt, 82, of Ashville, NY, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, August 5, 2023.

She was born March 9, 1941, in Van Buren, ME, the daughter of the late Claude and Cecile Gagnon Levesque.

Rolande had worked as a stock puller at Quality Markets Warehouse in Lakewood, NY. She had also worked as a store clerk at Quality Markets in Lakewood and at Hogan’s Hut in Stow.

She enjoyed bowling, watching golf, word searches, quilting, reading, collecting figurines, watching the Buffalo Bills, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Rolande is survived by her three children; Doreen (Richard) Anderson of Hilton, NY, Michael Vaillancourt of Jamestown, NY, and Dean (Jennifer) Vaillancourt of Jamestown, seven grandchildren; Amanda (Christopher), Alecia, Danielle (Aaron), Rachael (Luke), Kaylyn, Daren, and Jacob, four great-grandchildren: Joshua, Wyatt, Timothy and Abigail, and another on the way, two sisters: Maryline Gagnon of N. Tonawanda, NY, and Therese Rodrigue of Lowell, MA, one brother, Allen Levesque and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delton J. Vaillancourt, whom she married June 30, 1962, in Tonawanda, NY, two brothers: Roger and Clarence Levesque, and one sister, Georgette Levant.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church in Bemus Point, NY (41 Main St). FR Todd Remick will be the celebrant. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the start of the mass (12 noon to 2 PM) at the church.

Flowers are gratefully accepted and can be sent to the church the morning of the service (8-17-2023).
